Can Pensioenfonds ING advise me on the need to make any additional pension arrangements?
No, unfortunately we are not allowed to do this. If you need advise on additional pension arrangements, please consult a financial advisor.
-
How will I be informed about the status of my accrued pension?
Each year Pensioenfonds ING sends you a pension overview (called UPO, available in Dutch only). This overview states the amount of pension you have accrued. You can also check your pension online via the Pensioenplanner (available in Dutch only).
-
Can I take my pension with me if I leave the Netherlands and/or ING Bank / NN Group?
Yes, if you start working for a different employer or in a different country you can choose to keep your pension with Pensioenfonds ING or transfer your pension to another pension fund in the Netherlands or abroad (certain conditions apply).
-
How will Pensioenfonds ING be able to track me if I live abroad?
It is important that you keep Pensioenfonds ING informed if you change your permanent address abroad. That is the only way we can trace you. Changes in address can be sent to: Pensioenfonds ING, Postbus 4471, 6401 CZ Heerlen, The Netherlands. If you continue to live in the Netherlands we will automatically be informed of any changes in address by the municipal council.
-
Is my partner entitled to my pension?
If you are married or registered with the municipality in which you reside as cohabiting, your partner is automatically entitled to your pension benefits. If you have registered your partner in ING’s online self-service system, your partner will also be listed on your pension overview.
-
Can I register my partner for my pension if I am not married?
You partner qualifies for your pension if:
- You have had a cohabitation agreement drafted by a civil law notary, stating that you have a maintenance obligation, and;
-
You and your partner have been residing at the same address for at least six months.
Please send us a copy of your cohabitation agreement and two extracts from the municipal register as proof that you and your partner live at the same address so that we can list your partner on your pension overview. You do not need a cohabitation agreement if you and your partner have been living together for more than five years.
